Hypnosis Certification – 6 days – 50 hours

This is a 6 day hypnosis training course covering the foundation requirements of using hypnosis with clients.

The student will be introduced to traditional and Ericksonian hypnosis techniques, as well as current issues and debates in overcoming resistance and fear of hypnosis. It includes practical lecture, live demonstrations, pair work, supervision and reading assignments.

The training is offered by Carolyn Clark who has over 14 years of experience as a trainer and therapist. Ideally students will be qualified in psychotherapy, counseling, psychiatry, energy healing, body work or an approved complimentary therapy. Applicants without formal qualifications must be able to demonstrate interest, enthusiasm and life experience appropriate to the helping professions and show aptitude and potential for studying.

• Understanding hypnosis, and its phenomena
• How the mind works and how hypnosis fits into this model
• Ethics and client contra indicators when using hypnosis
• The information to gather in a client interview
• Building rapport with clients through conscious and subconscious mirroring
• Indirect and direct hypnosis principals
• Pacing and leading
• Rhythm and voice control
• Visualisation inductions
• Progressive relaxation induction
• Confusion induction
• When to use different inductions
• Trance deepening and depth assessment
• Ideo motor responses
• Steps deepener
• Anchoring
• Suggestions; direct, indirect, presuppositions, embedded commands, metaphors
• Applying hypnosis in areas such as stress reduction, confidence building and smoking cessation
• Bringing clients out of trance
• Producing self hypnosis tapes for clients
  

Foundation Certificate in Hypnosis

The Foundation Level Certificate in Hypnosis enables the student to obtain insurance and work with clients professionally in the areas taught.

The student will need to have:

• Attended all 6 days of Level I and Level II training
• Produce a hypnosis recording for skill assessment.
• Completed the workshop hypnosis theory reading and question assignments
• Produced a written summary of the sessions with 5 clients using hypnosis while under supervision
  

Follow on Training – 3 days £250

UK – FIRST TRAINING MARCH 2008 – LEVEL TWO – 3 days £250 TWO LONG WEEKENDS

This is a two part 3 day hypnosis course will be in the English language and covers the development of hypnosis skills. The tuition, supervision and certification fee is £425 if booked together.

Carolyn Clark Day has been teaching hypnosis for over a decade internationally and is a world renown therapist and healer. She offers this intensive programme for students who wish to train in hypnosis for any therapeutic intervention. It is a Foundation Level training, and a pre-requisite for working in deep level trance in a therapeutic interventions in trance. If students wish to continue to train in hypnosis they will be able to train as Advanced Practitioners for a further 5 days at £425 to complete the hypnosis Practitioner level certified by the General Hypnotherapy Register. Other trainings include Past Life Regression a 5 day intensive.

The hypnosis therapy training leads to past life and the regression therapy training program. The hypnosis training and regression therapy training is validated by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and the graduate can apply for membership of the General Hypnotherapy Register as a practitioner.

• Produce a hypnosis recording for skill assessment.

Follow on Training

The hypnosis therapy training leads to the regression therapy training which is accredited by IBRT – The international Board of Regression Therapy (www.IBRT.org). The course is also accredited with EARTH.

These courses will be offered in 2008.

Regression Therapy

Integrative Counselling Training - 210 hours of :

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; Family and Systems Theories and Marital Therapy, Attachment Therapy, Existentialist and Reality Therapy, Gestalt Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy.
